DISINFECTION: FAQ

Fogging a disinfectant insures that all surfaces in the room are touched by the product (Sanosil). In traditional spray applications, many areas are missed and since most people are used to wiping a surface after applying a disinfectant, they usually remove the product before it can kill surface germs. When fogging Sanosil for example, the room must be left unoccupied for up to ninety minutes. This insures that Sanosil has time to work and kill the surface pathogens.

Many recent reports from restoration companies that use Sanosil and the Halo fogger to remove airborne molds from homes are very encouraging. In many cases follow up air tests reveal a substantial reduction in airborne spores and particulate matter. This is logical as millions of 3-5 micron sized disinfectant droplets are dispersed during fogging. The droplets are suspended in the air for some time before slowly dropping to furniture and flooring. While suspended, the droplets are able to attach to airborne particles and both kill germs and physically remove them from the air. Best of all using the Halo Fogger can reduce the amount of sicks days from employee use!

That depends on the size of the room. The fogger has a chart on the back of the unit that shows fogging time versus a room size. In many applications the average fogging time is less than 15 minutes.

Surfaces are dry to the touch…You space will be ready for use in minutes!!

No. All people and pets must vacate the room during fogging as the Hydrogen Peroxide fog would be an irritant.

The rooms/office environments can be reoccupied, ninety minutes after our process is complete.
